EVE Online Fan Made Documentary Debuts

There’s no doubt that EVE Online is one of the biggest and most unique MMO’s out there right now. So it should come as no surprise when someone decided to make a documentary about it.

The hour-long documentary “A Tale of Internet Spaceships” was mostly shot during last year’s CCP Eve Fanfest by three media students from the Malmo University in Sweden. The aim of the documentary was to create a film that would be fascinating for everyone, from the most hardcore EVE fans to the people who know nothing about online gaming. The movie offers an inside look into a virtual world and all its intricacies.

The movie tells us the story of the relationship between CCP and the people that play the game; a love-hate relationship, that several times during the game’s lifespan, has been quite strained.
